Welcome to DAFI Alpacas. DAFI Alpacas is located in northern Baltimore County, just 35 minutes from downtown Baltimore City. The first breeders in Maryland to raise alpacas, we started in 1993 with ten alpacas. After having as many as sixty at one time, today our herd numbers about sixteen. Most of our alpacas are Huacayas, but we also have a few Suris.

At DAFI Alpacas, we strive to maintain a small, highly selective herd of quality Huacaya and Suri alpacas. As the first breeders in Maryland, we have 27 years experience of providing our customers with top bloodlines from Peru, Bolivia and Chile. We also have a wide range of raw fleeces, yarns and finished products, and pride ourselves on our reputation for outstanding customer support. At DAFI Alpacas, the term "the huggable investment" takes a new meaning; all of our crias have been used in 4H programs and as PR animals. DAFI offers a limited selection of pet and top quality animals available in a wide range of ages and colors.
