MABA Photo Contest: Call for Entries
MABA is holding a Photo Contest this summer! It's time to refresh the pictures on MABA's web site and display board. Please send us three (3) of your "best shots" of your farm, alpacas, events, or products. The selected images will be showcased on the MABA site and display board, which is seen be hundreds of prospective clients. Each selected image will have a photo credit in one of the following formats:
- "Photo by [photographer's name]"
- "___ Alpaca Farm"
- "Photo courtesy of ___ Alpaca Farm"
*For added PR value: Your farm name photo credit will have a link to your web site. (see sample at right)
Call For Entries: The online entry process is very easy. Simply send your images as JPEG files to lisa@spartana.com. And be sure to include the photographer's name and/or corresponding farm name. Images will be selected by Steve Quigley and Lisa Land.
Deadline for Entries is August 10, 2010.
All entrants agree that any image they submit to MABA's Photo Contest may be used for marketing and promotional purposes directly related to MABA. Any image used shall carry a photo credit line of photographer and/or farm. Copyright and all other rights remain that of the photographer or farm.
Following is a suggested list of image subject matter. Please hold onto your obvious posed shots, show ribbon portraits, auction or "for sale" pictures. We're looking for more 'alpaca life' content, such as:
- alpacas in pasture or barn
- alpacas interacting
- crias being adorable
- human/alpaca interaction (please no kissing)
- alpacas in public places, events, shows, or fairs
- farm shots in different seasons - morning and evening
- farm chores, shearing, fiber sorting; alpaca products, yarn, etc.
