As one of the largest and most highly respected alpaca shows in the United States, the MaPaca Jubilee is open to the public and offers events and seminars for newcomers, experienced breeders, curiosity seekers, and fiber/crafts enthusiasts, including:

The 4th Annual ALPACA Days '11 features Seminars, Demonstrations, Children's Activities, Alpacas, Products, Fleece, Yarn, Raffle, and more! Rain or Shine. Refreshments available.
Hagerstown Maryland Alpacas is a group of alpaca owners joined together out of a common interest for breeding the best quality alpacas and educating the public about these wondrous animals. Together we comprise farms located in northern Maryland and southern Pennsylvania conveniently situated close to Interstates 70 and 81. If you've never felt alpaca fleece before, you will be amazed at the softness of this hypoallergenic fiber and the vast array of beautiful natural shades it comes in. As for the alpacas, they will likely steal your heart.

Alpaca Reality Seminar [back

This weekend-long seminar is the perfect course for new and prospective Alpaca owners. Topics will include:
- We will show both Huacaya and Suri alpacas and discuss the strengths and weaknesses of each style of fleece.
- We will show you how to select and care for your starter herd, as well as provide hands-on experience with the alpacas.
- We will show you how to skirt and sort your fiber and prepare show fleeces.

Alpaca Shearing Day & Open House [back

This year, we have been fortunate enough to secure the services of Nathan Good for Saturday, April 23rd. Because Nathan is coming on Saturday, we are able to host our annual Spring Open House on the same day!
So, come on out to experience shearing, see the alpacas, products, and best of all - purchase raw fiber right off the Alpacas!
Come early and you can select your fiber before it's shorn!
